Long before it became a destination, this land was a hidden escape into nature for a family of cousins—a place where childhood summers meant long walks through the mountain, carrying everything on their backs to camp by the river. There were no roads, no tents, just small huts hand-made from long grass and leaves. Every year, family members flew in from abroad, spending their vacation here before heading straight back to the airport, never wanting to leave.

In 1985, five brothers made a decision that would change everything. They purchased the land that had once been their childhood retreat, determined to turn it into something lasting. At first, they imagined a simple home, maybe a ranch. But as the road was built and electricity arrived, the dream grew. By 2002, they placed the first tables and chairs near the river, welcoming guests for the first time. Word spread quickly, and by 2003 and 2004, they were overwhelmed with visitors. Even with space for 400 people, it was never enough. Cars lined the roads, and the small retreat had become something far greater.

Then, Lebanon’s struggles forced the brothers to leave. The doors closed, and for years, the dream was put on hold. But in 2022, after a trial reopening for the summer, it was clear—the place still had a life of its own. That year, they made the bold choice to reopen and the next generation stepped up and took over. Some left their lives in America behind, coming home to the river where it all began. Together, they rebuilt not just a restaurant, but a breathtaking wedding venue, a gathering place for families, and a sanctuary for those seeking nature’s beauty.
